Not My Shift (Android package com.psbideas.notmyshift) is provided by PSB Ideas, PAUL STEINBERG LLC. This policy describes how information is handled in the game. For privacy questions, contact [email protected].
The game stores progress, your player nickname, and preferences on your device. Where available, optional Google sign-in lets you connect progress to an account and synchronize saved progress through Google Firebase. Guest gameplay does not require an account. When you use these features, we will process your Firebase user ID, Google account email address and profile name, authentication information needed to maintain your session, and saved game progress, including your in-game nickname. We use this information to authenticate you, associate saves with your account, synchronize progress, and respond to account requests. We do not receive your Google password.
You can copy a Save code from Settings to back up or transfer your progress. A Save code contains your saved game, including your nickname. Keep it private and share it only with people or services you choose. PSB Ideas does not automatically receive your Save code.
Account services: Google Firebase will process account and cloud-save information on our behalf. Google may process technical information such as IP addresses and service diagnostics to deliver and protect its authentication and database services. See Firebase Privacy and Security and Google's Privacy Policy. Account services are separate from optional gameplay analytics.
The Android app uses Google AdMob to offer rewarded ads. Google's advertising software may process your IP address and approximate location derived from it, advertising and app/device identifiers, ad and app interactions, and diagnostic/performance information. Google uses this information to provide and measure advertising, analyze performance, and prevent fraud and abuse. Ad interactions can be processed even when ads are not personalized.
Google and its advertising partners may process information outside your country. Their handling of information is described in Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites and apps that use its services.
Where applicable, Google's consent system presents privacy choices. When Google requires a privacy-options entry point, Settings shows an Ad privacy options button so you can revisit those choices. Android also provides controls to reset or delete your advertising ID; available controls depend on your Android version. Declining personalized advertising does not necessarily stop all advertising-related data processing.
If you opt into gameplay analytics, Firebase Analytics processes app interactions, tutorial and progression milestones, feature usage, sessions, advertising interactions, and technical error diagnostics to help us understand and improve the game. The SDK also processes an app-instance identifier, device model, operating system, language, app version, and approximate location inferred from the IP address. We do not send your Google email, profile name, Firebase account ID, or full save as analytics events. Gameplay analytics is off by default. We collect it only after you choose to share gameplay statistics in the game. You can decline the optional prompt or change your choice at any time in Settings using Share anonymous gameplay stats. Your analytics choice is stored on your phone separately from your game save; importing a save or resetting progress does not grant consent. The current Android configuration disables Analytics collection of the advertising ID and Android ID and disables ad-personalization signals; AdMob has separate advertising processing described above. Google Analytics retains analytics information under its service and property retention settings. Turning off analytics stops future gameplay analytics collection; it does not automatically delete previously collected information. Contact support for help with a data request. Disabling future collection does not itself erase previously collected analytics.
You can opt into reminders about game events such as offline rewards or deliveries. Reminders are scheduled on your device. Android may ask you to allow notifications. You can change reminder settings in the game or revoke notification permission in Android Settings. The local reminder feature does not send reminder schedules to our server.
The game uses network access for advertising and, when enabled, authentication, cloud saves, and analytics. It does not request access to precise GPS location, contacts, camera, or microphone in the current build. Approximate location may still be inferred by advertising services from an IP address.
If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you include. We use that correspondence to respond to your request and resolve support issues. Avoid sending passwords or other information that is not needed to help you.
This policy and support website use Cloudflare Pages hosting. Visiting the site will involve normal web-request information such as IP address and browser details, which the hosting provider processes to deliver and protect the site. We do not add advertising or gameplay analytics scripts to these support pages.
The in-app path, in versions with account services, is Settings → Cloud save → Delete account & cloud data. The implementation deletes the cloud save before the Firebase account and reports failures so deletion can be retried. It keeps the save on your phone so you can continue as a guest; use the separate Reset all progress control or clear app storage to remove local progress. Signing out alone does not delete your account or cloud save. You can also request deletion without the app using our account-deletion page. If the in-app operation fails, contact support.
Account and cloud-save data will be kept while your account is active until you request deletion. Any information we must retain for a specific legal obligation will be identified when responding to your request. For requests made through support, we verify ownership before deletion and complete verified account-deletion requests within 30 days. Send the request from the Google email associated with the account; if ownership is unclear, we ask for further verification before deleting data. Never send passwords or authentication codes. We have not enabled scheduled Firestore backups or point-in-time recovery. Providers may retain operational records or short-lived recovery history under their service policies; account deletion is separate from deletion of Google advertising or Analytics records.
Local progress and preferences remain on your device until cleared or removed. Clearing the app's storage removes its local save. Copies of Save codes you exported remain wherever you stored or shared them and must be removed separately. Device backup services may retain app data according to your device settings and that service's policies.
We delete resolved support correspondence 12 months after the request is resolved. Contact us with a request concerning information you sent to us. Advertising-related information is retained and controlled by Google and its partners under their own policies; clearing your game save does not delete that information.
Google states that information transmitted by its Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit using TLS. Local save codes are an export format, not encryption. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
Not My Shift is intended for players aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review and respond.
We may update this policy when the game's features or information practices change. The date above identifies the latest revision.
